Kamal Haasan Makes Debut On Small Screen, To Restore Tamil Bigg Boss

Kamal Haasan, the superstar, has embarked on the Tamil version of Bigg Boss to enter the drawing rooms of Tamil households through small screen.

Versatile veteran actor Kamal Haasan is all set to make a debut on small screen as he will be hosting Tamil version of Bigg Boss which will be aired on Star Vijay from June 25. The shooting has begun on Friday. A lavish house set of over ₹ 1 crore has been made for the show. “This show will help me reach every household and capitalize on the love I have earned so far. It has a very wide reach. I don’t have to don an avatar this time. I can just be me, in my most natural self, and reach every household,” Kamal told media.

He also said,” I have been judged all my life. It’s nice to be judge.”

The show will feature 14 participants who will battle it out for 100 days.

Reacting to the criticism that he chose a commercial one rather than show like Satyameva Jayate where socially relevant topics were brought, Kamal said he does not need to prove that he is a citizen with a degree of social responsibility.

“I have been more socially responsible for longer than the person (read Aamir Khan) who hosted ‘Satyamev Jayate’.”

Kamal dodged questions on Rajinikanth’s rumoured political ambitions quipping Rajini knows pretty well where the cameras are placed.
