Justice Eludes Sasikala’s Parents, Not Contacted Yet
Amaravati: Parents of Telugu techie Narra Sasikala who was found dead in her New Jersey flat along with her six year old son feel ignored even after the a week of their daughter’s death. The parents complain that they were not contacted till date either by their son-in-law Narra Hanumantha Rao or his parents Narra Subba Rao and Siva Parvathi who live in Thimmarajupalem of Prakasam district.
Sasikala’s parents are in regular contact with the US police and consulate requesting them to hand over the bodies of their daughter and grandson to them in Vijayawada in vain. It is said that the US police and the representatives of the TANA have decided on sending the bodies to Thimmarajupalem and not to Vijayawada. Their request to place the bodies in their house even for just two hours for the relatives to have the last look fell in deaf ears.
“We are trying our best to have the last glimpse of the bodies of our daughter and grandson even for a few minutes. It is unfortunate that even till today neither my son-in-law nor his parents have contacted us,” Sashikala’s father Venkateswara Rao told the media persons.
Meanwhile, the TANA representatives are making arrangements to shift the two bodies of Sashikala and her son to India. The bodies would reach Hyderabad in the next two days and be sent by road to Thimmarajupalem in Prakasam district.
