Jupally welcomes Germans to Invest in Telangana
- Training to upgrade mining skills and operation modern machinery
HYDERABAD: A 16-member German delegation here on Monday met Telangana Industries Minister Jupally Krishna Rao at Secretariat.
The team led by Benhar Schust, Damic Matric, Rajesh Seth and other members from Germany representing companies such as German Engineering federation, Deilman-Haniel Mining Systems GmBH, Seimag Tecberg, Voith Turbo, VDMA, Geo Constech, Scharf, which are into the fields of mining machinery manufacturing and sales, mining consultancy service, mining education and skill development met the minister.
The minister apprised the Germans about the salient and unique features of new industrial policy of Telangana, TS-I PASS, T-IDEA and hassle-free arrangement of clearances to projects within 15 days.
He also explained the availability of land bank, infrastructure, power, water, and so on. And also informed about the availability of internationally reputed institutes and skilled work force in the state.
Reiterating about good physical and social infrastructural facilities available in the state, Krishna Rao requested the delegation to establish their units in Telangana. He also assured all possible cooperation to the investors in arranging hassle-free environment and best services from the State Government.
Arvind Kumar, Secretary, Industries and Narasimha Reddy, VC & MD, TSIIC answered various queries of the delegation on the key issues like power plants on the anvil in the state, Skill Development (TASK) programs, and so on.
The German delegation expressed their willingness to extend their services and share expertise to the technical institutes (mining) in the state for enhancing the skill development in mining sector in the areas like, Fault Finding, Recommissioning, and handling of modern machinery, etc. (NSS)
