Jaya shankar fourth death anniversary observed
HYDERABAD: Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Rao today paid floral tributes to Telangana ideologue Prof. Jaya shankar on the occasion of his fourth death anniversary at Telangana Bhavan.
Speaking on the occasion, the TRS chief said Jaya shankar used to explain about injustices meted out to Telangana in undivided Andhra Pradesh and benefits through achieving separate state for the region.
Accordingly, now the state is going ahead with his inspiration and ideology to take forward the region to a new height in every sector, Rao said. The rapid growth and steady development of the state will certainly give peace to Jaya shankar’s soul, he maintained.
The TRS Government was following his ideology for the cause of poor and deprived classes, he said. The government will follow the footsteps of Jaya shankar to offer the best and appreciable services to the people in Telangana, he said.
IT Minister Rama Rao also offered floral tributes to the Jaya shankar statue and said the state will usher in an era of development with focus on welfare of the poor and downtrodden. The TRS Government is emulating the spirit of Jaya shankar and making every effort to implement his ideology, he added. (NSS)
