Jana Sena’s Audition For ‘Soldiers’ At Ananthpur Tomorrow

Pawan Kalyan has come up with a creative idea to hold an entrance test for selecting foot soldiers for the party.

Hyderabad: It is not EAMCET or any entrance exam that would be conducted at Ananthpur tomorrow. We are witnessing for the first time a test being conducted for the selection of soldiers (volunteers) for a political party in India. Jana Sena has decided to be professional in its approach.

According to the Jana Sena sources, it is a new and a novel model to choose honest, talented persons to work in politics. But political analysts question the way the party wants to about recruiting its cadre. They are not sure if this method works for Pawan kalyan. Added to this, whether Pawan kalyan limits this model only to Ananthpur or extends to all districts is not known. Written test for party activists for three days is baffling the observers who wonder if Pawan is trying to be over creative as he is in his films.

The party received 3600 applications from across district and exam centre will be at GR Gardens. Applications received belong to different categories like Speaker, Analyst an Content writer and schedule time given to them runs from 9 am to 7 pm.

One has to see how Pawan selects the candidates as he is busy with Trivikram’s flick.

Jana Sena and Mega Fans To Work Together For Sure

Fans of Mega Star Chiranjeevi were nonplussed when Ram Charan asked them to give a helping hand to his uncle Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena.

Pawan kalyan came out openly that there is no place for his brother Chiranjeevi in Jana Sena and doors are closed for him. But this sttaement from Ram Charan left fans in a dilemma wondering how they could support Pawan’s party after he insulted Chiranjeevi?

Jana Sena Least Bothered About Lagadapati’s Survey

Lagadapati Rajagopal uses his so called survey to curry favour with Chandrababu Naidu and angers Pawan Kalyan’s fans in the process.

Vijayawada: Former MP Lagadapati Rajgopal, popularly known as ‘Andhra Octopus’, comes out with a survey report whenever he is not in picture. His survey was correct a few times when late YSR was CM. But after that Rajgopal’s survey failed many times and left a question mark in its genuity.

A few months back, Rajgopal made a survey and stated that YSRCP will come to power. Now the latest buzz in political circles is his survey report on TDP which was done in November 2016.

As per his survey TDP will win 160 seats if party contests alone. If it allies with BJP, the number of seats would be restricted to 140 to 150 seats. His survey shows that TDP will win 23 Lok Sabha seats.

Jana Sena, which was launched by film actor Pawan kalyan will get only 3.9% vote share in 2019 elections, according to the alleged survey. After hearing about Ragopal’s survey, Jana Sena leaders are not ready to accept the outcome and they are rubbishing the survey. How can he change his survey within two months which predicted YSRCP’s win and now claim victory for the changed the TDP? Jana Sena mainly argues that one factor can change the total scenario in politics. One factor might work as negative for one party and positive for another.

But there is nothing visible which can result in a vote share swing towards TDP in the last two months and only Lagadapati can explain what made him to reverse the result. Is it because Lagadapati is eyeing the Vijayawada LS seat and preparing the ground to join the TDP? The fact that Lagadapati had met Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu at Amaravati recently and it was only after that meeting the so called survey report has been made public smells a rat.

Jana Sena Ready To Face Early Elections: Pawan Kalyan

Pawan Kalyan says his party Jana Sena is prepared to face early elections next year.

Hyderabad: Jana Sena Chief Pawan kalyan in his tweet stated that Jana Sena is ready to face elections at any time in 2018.

With early poll bugle echos from all parties across state touched Jana Sena, Pawan reacted that party will face elections at any time and there is no pressure on him and has sufficient time to cope with the matter.

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu had reportedly hinted at the State going for early elections in 2018 and asked the leaders to get ready. This made Jana Sena Chief change his strategy as per party sources.

Pawan will complete all film schedules in coming six months or by the end of 2017. Pawan does not want to sign any new films in 2018.

Pawan  has decided to launch the campaign in 2018 January according party sources. From January, he will be in public, fighting on issues related to the people and waging war against ruling party. This once again gives clear picture that Jana Sena does not want to go with TDP in coming elections.

There are calls from CPI and Lok Satta parties to join hands with them, Pawan will decide on this issue in coming days.

Pawan is planning to complete booth in charges and coordinators before November 2017.

Party sources say, only Pawan will take up the issue of selecting candidates and there will be no second thought related to this issue.

Jana Sena completed its first round of recruiting activists in Anantapur district on Friday. Party has plans to contest from Telangana too, but scenario looks to be difficult for the party to fight alone in political arena of Telangana.

Delimitation Is Not An Issue Bothering Netas

Even if the EC refuses to increase the number Assembly seats through Delimitation, the entry of Jana Sena will open 175 options (seats) for the aspirants. If BJP too is going alone, there would be an added 175 options.

Amaravati: The Central government and the State Election Commission have clarified that there is no proposal to increase the number of Assembly seats in the two Telugu States for the next round of elections. Though the ruling parties in the two Telugu States are claiming that they would get the Assembly seats increased as per the AP Reorganisation Act, the chances of increasing the number of seats are very less or rather appear to be nil as it require Constitutional amendment.

There were such negative statements and indications from the Central government on several occasions for the increase of the number of Assembly seats. The State Election Commission had categorically said that there was no proposal for delimitation of the Assembly seats in the State. State Election Commissioner Bhanwarlal in a reply to tribal leader Suryanayak, had said that the EC had no delimitation proposal and this had ruled out the possibility of having more Assembly seats.

However, the leaders are not worried about the increase in the number of seats for the 2019 elections. The decision of the Jana Sena to contest the next elections had opened 175 seats for the aspirants. Though Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan indicated that he would not entertain turncoats, he would be forced to accommodate several leaders like Bonda Umamaheswara Rao and Ganta Srinivasa Rao, who are now with the ruling TDP. There are several such leaders who are expected to vacate their seats in the TDP thus opening chances for the new leaders in the ruling party.

The mood of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the State to go alone in the next elections had given scope for the opening of another 175 seats for the aspirants. The BJP, if going alone in the next elections, would certainly take some leaders from the TDP. There are a handful of leaders in the ruling TDP who are not happy with the style of Chandrababu Naidu and the increasing domination and intervention of his son Lokesh both in the government and the party. The senior leaders are looking st alternatives to desert the future leader of the party, Lokesh and the option before them is the BJP.

The Jana Sena and the BJP are set to take greater number of candidates from the ruling TDP, though they would be eating into the Opposition vote bank. With an eye on these two parties, the leaders have started exploring the opportunities to be in the battle with a party ticket, even if the delimitation is not done as promised in the AP Reorganisation Act 2014.

Jana Sena to begin recruitment from Ananthapur

Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena is set to start recruitment of leaders in every district. The recruitment, first of its kind in a political party, is scheduled to begin in Ananthapur on April 21. It is from this district Pawan Kalyan is planning to contest in the 2019 elections, as declared by him earlier.

Amaravati: Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena is set to start recruitment of leaders in every district. The recruitment, first of its kind in a political party, is scheduled to begin in Ananthapur on April 21. It is from this district Pawan Kalyan is planning to contest in the 2019 elections, as declared by him earlier.

Jana Sena chief had claimed that his party would be different from the existing political parties as he would focus more on welfare of the people, bring down corruption to the zero level, besides other issues. To keep his party on the promised lines, Pawan Kalyan had announced that he would take special care while admitting leaders and cadre into his party. He had also referred to the experience he had with the Praja Rajyam Party that was launched by his elder brother K Chiranjeevi before 2009 elections and was subsequently forced to be merged with the Congress.

Pawan Kalyan, as he gears up for the 2019 elections, wants to have a strong team to be free from corruption. He wants his party leaders to have knowledge of issues from their native area and be authority to guide the party in framing State level policies. Towards this, the Jana Sena is scheduled to hold interviews for the candidates at G R Gardens in Ananthapur on April 21. The exercise is set to be extended to the remaining 12 districts in the State in a phased manner, the Jana Sena said.

He strongly came down on TDP MPS by saying that they have forgotten the insult of getting beaten by North MPS in the Parliament during bifurcation.

He requested TDP not to mortgage the self respect of people of AP to Centre for their  personal benefits. He questioned Centre why they did not divide UP on popular demand and the rule apply only for South state like AP?

Pawan Kalyan: Only Action, No Traction

In politics, we need patience, time, and right step with a perfect game plan when time is short. But even today we can’t find any one after Pawan kalyan

Hyderabad: Jana Sena Chief, actor-turned-politician, Pawan Kalyan can’t utter a dialogue like his brother Chiranjeevi, but can pull youth with his dramatic actions which we have seen in his films with hand moving towards his neck in an action sequence, an indication that he is in anguish. All is well for him up to 2016, luckily for him his ally TDP formed Government in Andhra Pradesh and partnered with the BJP both in the State and at the Centre, Narendra Modi as PM.

Pawan sincerely tried for strengthening PRP with Yuva Rajyam which could not deliver in 2009 elections. In 2014 he launched Jana Sena and in that year Pawan became most searched politician in google .Jana Sena Chief’s slogan was ‘Congress Hataho Desh Bachao’ during 2014 campaign and the U- turn he took before one year by raising voice against TDP (but not on TDP Supremo) and surprise division with a racist slogan, ‘North and South divide’ looks dangerous and shows Pawan Kalyan is still immature in politics. A day before he slammed Tarun Vijay for racist remark and said such prejudice will divide the nation; it was Pawan who started talking about South and North in his previous speeches. May be, he has forgotten as that action sequence was completed.

Pawan launched party with a slogan ‘ to question ( Prasninchadam Kosam),  and always remained at the same status without finding any solution. His guest role in politics is not convincing people of AP. Jana Sena cadre might ask, if so, why Uddanavanam to Agri Gold victims approached Jana Sena. It is the Jana Sena leaders who moved towards the victims and arranged programmes to fetch a mileage to their party, but not asked by the victims.

Pawan is still in cloud by believing the aides who are misguiding him with false surveys and predictions.  Recent survey of Jana Sena which became viral in social media indicating party will get 60 seats   was a farce intended to make their leader happy, which happened for PRP just before elections. PRP’s survey hinted that party will achieve 135 seats 3 months prior to elections and at the end we all know with how many seats party got finally. The same cloud and team is trying to put a shoulder on Pawan which is leading to down fall due to a silent wave.

AP state is witnessing a strong anti-incumbency, this is the only factor Jana Sena is trying to utilise. It is totally dependent on fans vote bank rather than leaders who can pull party forward. Call by Jana Sena Chief meant for those who are enthusiastic to join the party did not give reply.

For Chiranjeevi, who got millions of fans, it became difficult to find booth agents and cadre to campaign in many districts of AP and Telangana.  If Pawan believes, his party is different and can make a miracle unlike the PRP; it is sheer over estimation and over confidence.

Dilemma is still running in Pawan camp not knowing whether to continue with movies or to plunge into politics for full time. After Katamarayadu, he planned for another remake of Ajith’s movie, then changed his mind and fixed to Trivikram’s project. He kept a distance from Mega family members’ functions but suddenly praised Chiranjeevi during Katamarayadu’s pre-release function. We can see same inconsistency here too.

In politics, we need patience, time, and right step with a perfect game plan when time is short. But even today we can’t find any one after Pawan kalyan. He has been only acting and he has not been able to create traction with the people as Opposition party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy did. To change the perception which has been inculcated among the students and the youth for years, Pawan Kalyan has to do a lot of work

Pawan Being Promoted By Rival Community Leaders To Stop Jagan

Sanjaya
Hyderabad: Some important persons of the ruling class in Andhra Pradesh have taken up the responsibility of promoting film star Pawan Kalyan in politics. The attempt appears to be two-pronged. One, to stop Opposition leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in his tracks from becoming chief minister in 2019. Two, to help Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, if possible, to continue for second term by diving the anti-establishment vote thus helping Naidu in retaining power. Otherwise, make Pawan Kalyan the chief minister by leading the BJP-Jana Sena alliance to power.

The media barons belonging to a particular community have come into the open in supporting the Power Star. Ramoji Rao, the Media Moghul of Telugu States, has approved the publication of a cover story on Pawan Kalyan, chief of Jana Sena Party in his latest Sunday supplement. The story published on the occasion of the audio release of Katamarayudu, a film featuring Pawan Kalyan, was first of its kind in more than forty years of Eenadu’s existence. The newspaper never published a cover story in its Sunday supplement eulogising a living person who is head of a political party. The story is hundred percent positive based on an interview in which the Power Star narrates his life journey so far. The story certainly creates a very positive image for the star. It makes a very good reading.

Two promoters of TV news channels, TV9 and NTV, were on the dais when the audio release function of Katamarayudu was held. Ravi Prakash, TV9, was the first speaker. He did not say anything about the film. He straightaway supported Pawan Kalyan’s decision to contest in the forthcoming elections. Ravi Prakash said Pawan is the right person at the right time. NTV’s Narendra Chowdary, who has been close to Congress leaders like Shabbir Ali, said Pawan Kalyan has a great future in politics. Lok Satta’s Dr Jayaprakash Narayan also expressed the same sentiments at a different forum recently.

It is strange to see resourceful persons from the same community praising a person who is from a community that is traditionally opposed to their’s. It is no secret that Kammas and Kapus are at loggerheads for decades. Kapus have been manipulated by Kammas and Reddys for political ends. Kapus have been allowing themselves to be used by the two dominant castes though their percentage in population is far more. The Reddys have been enjoying political power right from Independence. The advent of Telugu Desam Party under the charismatic leadership of film hero NT Rama Rao had paved the way for enterprising Kamma community to get the reins of power. After NTR, Chandrabau Naidu has been keeping the mantle with them community.

Megastar K Chiranjeevi tried to break the wall in 2009 when he launched ‘Praja Rajya Party’. He wanted to be the first chief minister from kapu community. In a triangular contest, the PRP ended up third with 18 seats. The Congress retained power and the TDP continued to be in opposition. After the tragic death of YS Rajasekhar Reddy, the PRP was merged into the Congress and Chiranjeevi became a Rajya Sabha Member and Union Minister of State for Tourism.

After Andhra Pradesh was bifurcated, the Congress came a cropper in both AP and Telangana State. The TDP fought the elections in alliance with the BJP. Pawan Kalyan has floated a party, Jana Sena. But he did not contest. He campaigned for the TDP-BJP alliance and against the YSRCP headed by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. He was instrumental in taking Kapu votes in Godavari districts to the TDP away from the YSRCP. The alliance won and Naidu became the first chief minister of the residual state of AP.

As Naidu’s rule has been lacklustre and mired in corruption making him unpopular, Pawan Kalyan started going to the people and organising public meetings. There have been rumours that Pawan is a tool in the hands of Naidu. He is used as a weapon against opposition leader. Whenever YS Jagan Mohan Reddy takes up a popular cause and mobilises people against the government, Pawan Kalyan goes to the same people and promises to talk to the government. Naidu makes some appropriate noise indicating that he was acting on the suggestion of Jana Sena chief. That helps in dousing the flames of discontent.

As the half-way mark was crossed and 2019 elections are fast approaching, the ruling class appears to have chalked out a strategy to move Pawan Kalyan ahead into the mainline. They have realised that anti-establishment vote is moving towards Jagan in a big way. In order to stop it, a strategy to divide the anti-establishment vote is needed. Just like Chiranjeevi unwittingly helped YS Rajasekhara Reddy to win the second term in 2009 by dividing the anti-establishment vote, the ruling class is trying to use Pawan Kalyan to play the same role so that the TDP can continue in power after the next election. The media owners never want to make Pawan Kalyan, from the rival community, a chief minister. They are bent upon stalling Jagan. Will Pawan Kalyan and Kapu community play into the hands of the ruling class once again? Will they realise that they are being used only to be thrown out later? Will the YSRCP see the game plan of the rival media owners and political leaders and learn quick lessons in order to get ready for the future battles ? Will it shed its overconfidence and start building the party from the grassroots level? So far the opposition party has options. As time moves on, the options get diminished.

Pawan Kalyan to bat for weavers at Mangalagiri on Feb. 20

Dara Gopi

Amaravati: Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan is likely to address a large meeting of the weavers at Mangalagiri in the AP capital region on February 20. A delegation of the weavers that met the hero-turned politician last week, had requested him to attend the meeting. The leaders are now making the arrangements for the event that is set to focus on the weavers’ problems.

Pawan Kalyan’s intervention is helping the aggrieved parties in the State as the government is responding only to his demands than those of the main opposition party, YSR Congress. Be it the land pooling issue of the capital area farmers or the mysterious kidney disease issue of the Uddanam area people, the State government had responded positively taking his criticism. The weavers too, taking advantage of the situation, have approached Pawan Kalyan to extend support to them.

The Jana Sena chief, who had given them a patient hearing for two hours, is now ready to give his voice for them. He is now collecting information on the plight of the weavers, particularly the handloom weavers spread over Krishna, Guntur and Prakasam districts. The Mangalagiri meeting is all likely to see Pawan Kalyan asking for some sops to the community.

The ruling TDP had promised total loan waiver for the weavers during the 2014 elections. After coming to power in the last two and a half years, the government claims to have waived the loans of the farmers and the self-help group women, while the Opposition and some farmers’ bodies ridicule it. However, it is said that the government had not taken up the cause of the weavers and addressed their loans issues.

Hundreds of weavers in the State are in dire need of financial and marketing support. The handlooms are to be replaced for several of them as they have not received any support over the years. The use of handloom cloths has come down alarmingly with no patronage. Though there are outlets run by the APCO, the sale is considerably low running them in losses.

Pawan Kalyan had agreed to be their brand ambassador to promote the use of handloom cloths and other material. It is in this background, the Jana Sena chief is set to give his voice for one of the oldest professions of the State or rather the world that looks for a helping hand.

Naidu hopes Centre will keep promises

  • Slams critics on package

Visakhapatnam: AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has hoped that the Centre would fulfill its promise of giving funds under special packages on par with Special Status.

Addressing a Jana Chaitanya Yatra meeting at Chodavaram in Visakhapatnam district on Thursday, he said the Centre has given assurance that it would provide more funds under the package than what the state could get under the Special Status category. Refuting allegations that the state would not get more funds under special status, the chief minister said some mischief mongers were willfully spreading false information. It may be mentioned here that YSRCP president YS Jaganmohan Reddy and Tollywood actor and Jana Sena founder Pawan Kalyan raised questions about the state government agreeing to special package.

Blaming the ten-year Congress rule for the present problems, Naidu said he was relentlessly working for development of AP and his aim was to eradicate poverty. “Though we have a chance to live in Hyderabad for ten years, we decided to shift government machinery to Amaravati for the sake of people, he added.
