TPCC chief calls it silly and bogus
Reacting to the survey, TPCC chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy called it a?silly and bogus.a The Congress party will win more than 80 seats if the elections are conducted now, he stressed.
Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan in Hyderabad on Saturday, Uttam Kumar Reddy said survey figures were cooked up while sitting at home and not meeting the people. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao could have taught lessons if (Nazi propaganda chief) Goebbels was alive. a?The people are restive and unhappy over the TRS governmentas functioninga?, he said and questioned as to why the people would cast their vote to KCR when the latter failed to implement his assurances like double bedroom house scheme, loan waiver, three acre land to Dalits and so on.
Quoting one of the survey results that 30 percent of the people were happy with the double bed room scheme, Uttam said the survey was ridiculing the people. The survey was only an effort to hide the TRS governmentas failures, he opined. Throwing a challenge at KCR to make the 24 MLAs, who joined his party from other political parties to tender their resignations and contest the elections.
Stating that the people would teach a fitting lesson to KCR and his family members, Uttam asked KCR to tell as to why he was not releasing funds to Arogya Sree, fee reimbursement scheme and so on. The government, which introduced Rs 1.30 lakh crore budget, was not in a position to release funds to the mid-day meals scheme and NREGS, he pointed out. The Chief Ministeras performance was very poor, he alleged and said that the state was developed only on liquor sales.
