Italian devotee plans Baba temple in her country
Hyderabad: A 72-year-old Italian woman, who claims to be a staunch devotee of Shirdi Sai Baba, has donated a gold crown worth about Rs 28 lakhs to the Shirdi Sai Devasthan.
Donor Selini Doloras alias Sai Durga on Thursday donated the diamond-studded gold crown weighing about 855 gm to the presiding deity, Shri Sai Baba Sansthan trustee Sachin Tambe said. Selini Doloras has been an ardent follower of Sai Baba for the past nine years and visits Shirdi every month. Earlier, she had donated two gold-plated ‘rudraksha’ malas, worth Rs 25 lakhs to the Saibaba temple.
Speaking after presenting the crown, Selini Doloras said she intends to build a huge Sai Baba temple in Italy. She also kept a blueprint of the proposed temple at the feet of Sai Baba idol to seek His blessings. –NSS
