Indian-American’s Huge Donation To Trump
Washington: The Republican Hindu Coalition (RHC) chief, Shalabh Kumar, has denoted 1.1 million dollars to the Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s campaign in Edison on Saturday. Indian-American billionaire had hit the headlines. With the charity event in the Little Indian city of New Jersey, Edison where Asians outnumber Americans.
The Trump campaign raised 100 million dollars, including 2 million dollars of personal donation by Trump. The total campaign fund raised so far is 360 million dollars. Describing this amount as historic total, Steven Mnuchin, Donald J Trump for President Finance Chairman, said Trump continues to have incredible broad-based support from across America.
Trump described India as a strategic ally and promised that if voted to power India and the US would become best friends.
‘India is the world’s largest democracy and is a natural ally of the US. Under a Trump administration, we are going to become even better friends’, Trump told cheering crowd of Indian-Americans. ‘We are for free trade. We will have good trade deals with other countries. We are going to do a lot of business with India, he said.
