India-NZ first ODI: Easy for home side

Dharamsala: It’s a cakewalk for India in the first ODI against New Zealand in Dharamsala on Sunday. With 85 unbeaten, Virat Kohli was again proved to be a hero. Excellent bowling effort saw the home side cruise to a six-wicket victory over NZ, clocking the first win in the five-match ODIs. India hit the target in just 33.1 overs after bowling out New Zealand for 190 in 43.5 overs. 

Hardik Pandya the all-rounder put up a good show with 3 for 31 while Kohli the chaser made 85 runs from 81 balls. He struck nine fours. After being down at 106 for 8, New Zealand reached 190 with tail-enders’ efforts.
