Hizbul Mujahideen Warns Hurriyat Leaders Of Chopping Off Their Heads
Srinagar: At a time when violence in Srinagar is spiralling day by day, an audio clip of terror outfit Hizbul Mujahideen leader Zakir Musa is going viral on social media. In his five-minute audio clip Musa warned Hurriyat leaders that their heads would be chopped off and would hang at the Lal Chowk if they continued to interfere in its ‘struggle for Islam.’
“I’m warning all those hypocrite Hurriyat leaders. They must not interfere in our Islamic struggle. If they do, we will cut their heads and hang them in Lal Chowk,” Musa said in the audio clip.
The authenticity of the audio clip is yet to be confirmed.
While many people describe the resistance and violence in Kashmir as a political struggle, the militant leader clarified that they are fighting to impose a Shariat in Kashmir and does not intend in resolving Kashmir issue by calling it a political struggle. Musa asserted that Hurriyat leaders should know that the fight is for Islam and for Shariat.
Urging people to unite against the Hurriyat’s hypocrisy, Musa said, “We should all love our religion and realise that we are fighting for Islam. If the Hurriyat leaders think it is not so, then why have we been hearing the slogan ‘Azaadi ka matlab kya- La ilaha il Allah.’ “
He also questioned why Hurriyat groups have been using mosques for their politics.
The Hizbul Mujahideen has been waging a silent fight to uproot the Hurriyat Conference since the 2016 uprising. Last week, the militant outfit released a statement against women protestors coming out on the roads.
Meanwhile, Hizbul Mujahideen is suspected in the killing of young Kashmiri Army Officer Ummer Fayaz, earlier this week.
