Hillary diagnosed with Pneumonia: Democrats may consider replacement
New York: The officials within the Democratic Party are considering a replacement for the presidential candidate Hillary Clinton after video of her stumbling at 9/11 event emerged today.
Al-Jazeera reporter David Shuster tweeted: “Clarification from dem operatives of Hillary Clinton pneumonia: Expect emergency DNC meeting to CONSIDER replacement.”
If the Democratic Party has to replace the presidential candidate, the possible replacements for Hillary would be runner up Bernie Sanders and Vice Presidential candidate Tim Kaine.
Hillary Clinton fell ill soon after attending the 9/11 memorial, her personal doctor announces that the US Democratic presidential candidate is diagnosed with pneumonia.
Hillary Clinton is heading for elections in less than two months and the whole focus is now on her health. Just before leaving the site of the September 11, 2001 attack in New York, she was stumbling and her knees were crumpling. She was then taken to her daughter Chelsea’s home, where she got recovered. After two hours she appeared before media, wearing sunglasses, and said she was feeling great.
Clinton’s doctor, Lisa Bardack, said that she was diagnosed on Friday, but her condition was not made public until Sunday afternoon. Veteran politician has been experiencing a cough related to allergies for quite some time and an examination on Friday showed it was pneumonia.
Lisa Bardack said that Hillary has been put on antibiotics and advised to take rest and modify her schedules. The doctor said due to high temperature and humidity in the morning Hillary had dehydration and now she is recovered well.
It is not clear whether Clinton would be able to travel to California as planned for campaign and fundraising event on Monday.
