Governments have fallen in Phone Tapping Cases
HYDERABAD: Alleging that the Telangana Government is indulging in character assassination, Andhra Pradesh finance minister, Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, today reminded that the governments have fallen in phone tapping cases.

Giving details of cabinet meeting, Yanamala said the cabinet had decided not to leave those officials who were involved in tapping. The party would demand thecentre to implement section-8, effectively. The cabinet also decided to take action against Telangana Government, and the governor should initiate action in this regard, he said.
Naidu would call on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Rajnath Singh on this issue, Yanamala said.
Reminding that the earlier government had fell on phone tapping episodes, the minister said TDP Government would inform the centre about its opinion on section-8 of AP re-organisation act.
Phone tapping amounts to character assassination of an individual, and it is against the constitution.
Telangana Government and ACB should come out with facts as to who is behind the work of tapping and stating that it was the voice of Naidu. The party would not keep quiet to any move that would damage the prestige of the party president, he said. (NSS)
