Godavari Pushkaralu to be held grandly: Indrakaran
HYDERABAD: Minister for Endowments Indrakaran Reddy today said Godavari Pushkaralu will be held in a grand manner.
Speaking to the media on Saturday, Indrakaran said the government had released adequate funds for Godavari Pushkaralu, and concerned officials were asked to make speedy arrangements. The people at Pushkar Ghats participating in the festivities will get all facilities, he remarked.
He reiterated that Yadadri (Yadagirigutta temple) in Nalgonda district will be developed on par with Tirumala. Yadadri temple will soon get all facilities, better road connectivity, cottages for accommodation, he said, adding efforts were being made to enhance spiritual look, devotional ambience, rich culture and enticing look of tradition. He also said infrastructure will be on par with that of Tirumala. The Government has given top priority to develop the temple with budgetary allocation of 100 crore rupees, he said.
Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Rao visited the temple twice along with Chinna Jeeyar Swamy and has recently renamed Yadagirigutta as Yadadri. The minister said the TRS Government will take stringent measures against land grabbers. The officials were asked to recover encroached lands of the Endowments without further delay, he added. (NSS)
