Fake job recruiting firms busted, three arrested
Hyderabad: The sleuths of the Commissioners’ Task Force busted three fake manpower consultancies engaged in luring unemployed youth by promising jobs in Gulf countries and cheating them of thousands of rupees.
Three persons engaged in the racket by running the fake recruiting firms were arrested in simultaneous raids conducted of their premises in Chandrayangutta, Santhoshnagar and Kacheguda police station limits. The police seized three computers, stamps, application/bio-date forms, xerox copies of passports, copies tour visas and employment visas etc.
The arrested persons were Mohd. Omer (Proprietor Air Zone Tours and Travels, Chandrayangutta); Mohd. Hameeduddin (Proprietor Shine Advertising Agency, Santhoshnagar) and Mohammed Imdad Siddiqui (Proprietor Al’ain Groups Consultancy Services, Old Malakpet.
According to the police the three arrested persons were allegedly running the fake recruitment business by claiming to be licensed or authorized agents though without any permission from the Protector General of Emigration of the Central Labor Ministry. The accused persons allegedly collected huge amounts from gullible unemployed youth by charging Rs.30,000 to Rs.50,000 from each with the promise of providing jobs in Dubai, Saudi Arabia etc in the posts of Supervisors, plumbers, mechanics, cooks helpers etc.
The arrested persons were handed over to the concerned police stations for further action. The Addl. Dy. Commissioner of Police, Task Force, under whose supervision the racket was busted appealed to the unemployed youth to be careful and not fall prey to such h fake recruiting agents by checking the authenticity of the firms.
