Errabelli slams KCR for Eulogizing Nizam
Hyderabad: TDP floor leader in Telangana Assembly Errabelli Dayakar Rao today lashed out at Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for showering praise on the erstwhile Nizam rule.
Speaking to mediapersons here on Friday, Errabelli said it was very unfortunate that KCR has chosen to eulogize the notorious Nizam rule during which hapless women were stripped and made to play “Bathukamma” to avenge the Telangana Armed Struggle.
The TDP leader alleged that KCR was trying to derive political gain in the ensuing GHMC elections by making such strange comments. By his unwarranted praise of the Nizam, KCR hurt the people of Telangana, he said, adding that the Chief Minister had adopted double speak by singing psalms on Komram Bheem in Nizamabad and now praising Nizam rule in Hyderabad.Dayakar Rao appealed to people not to fall prey to the gimmicks of KCR. Bhopalapalli TDP in-charge Satyanarayana and elections committee member Shobharani were also present at the media conference.
Telangana Congress leaders Mallu Ravi and K Mahesh also today lashed out at KCR for singing the Nizam’s praises. Speaking to mediapersons at Gandhi Bhavan here, they criticized the Chief Minister for omitting Telangana Armed Struggle and eulogizing erstwhile Nizam’s dictatorial and feudal rule. Accusing the Chief Minister of playing a political game for Muslim votes in the coming GHMC elections, they said the people who fought for Telangana will be wary of this peculiar situation.
Comparing Nizam’s rule to that of British Colonial Rule, they found fault with the Chief Minister for praising such rulers. People will not hesitate to launch another revolt against the TRS Government if KCR failed to mend his policies, they warned. (NSS)
