Don’t Pressurise Cable Operators, Undavalli Shoots Off Letter To Naidu
Rajahmundry: Former MP Undavalli Arun Kumar alleged that pressure is being built by the Fibre network management, which is under government control, on M.S.O.s to sell away their connections. He criticised that the government which promised to give connection for Rs 149 is now threatening MSOs’ that it would cut their cable wires.
He also alleged that CM Chandrababu Naidu is trying to dismantle the system that operators built with their own investments over three decades. He said that ₹ 149 connections should be given to those who ask for them and trying to snatch away the connections from local cable operators is unfair.
He criticised that Naidu is trying to grab the cable system. He criticised that Fibre Grid Project was given to a black listed company Tera Software Limited. To opt for Rs 149 connection in fibre grid, people have to buy a set-top box worth ₹ 4 thousand, how many people can afford it, Undavalli asked. He wrote a letter to CM Naidu in this connection.
