Do We Really Need To Work In The US: Asks Alok’s Dad
Hyderabad: Reflecting on the shooting incident at Kansas City in which his son Alok Madasani was injured, Madasani Jaganmohan Reddy asks, ‘Do our boys and girls need to work in the US?’ He reiterates, “After the nightmarish incident, do we really need to go and work in the United States?’ Jaganmohan Reddy said.
”Thank God, my son survived the firing. But I feel sorry for Srinivas Kuchibhotla, who was close to my son,” he said.
Mr. Reddy, Chief Engineer in the Rural Water Supply department of the Government of Telangana, told the media persons on Friday that he spoke to his son who told him everything was just fine. Narrating his conversation with his injured son, Mr. Reddy said: “My son and Srinivas, along with their American friend, had visited the bar. He said that assailant started yelling at them, saying get out of my country. The American friend alerted the bar owner, who sent away the person. He was reportedly heavily drunk.” The ex-serviceman had returned armed with a gun and shot at Srinivas Kuchibhotla and Alok, he said.
