DMK chief ‘unwell’
Chennai: The DMK party has announced that its supremo M Karunanidhi is ‘not keeping well’. In a press release, the party said that he has developed allergy due to some medicines he is taking regularly and added that he is taking rest and urged his supporters and well-wishers not to disturb him.
As soon as Karunanidhi’s health news has started making rounds, DMK cadres have started worrying about his condition. In fact, DMK has called for an all-party meet for today (Tuesday) to discuss the Cauvery issue but the news has disturbed DMK leaders.
DMK chief’s ‘unwell’ report comes at a time when his political rival J Jayalalithaa is still in Apollo Hospital, presumably recovering from some health condition that not many people know. She was admitted in Apollo on September 22 for fever and dehydration. Reports suggest she is responding to medical treatment being administered by a team of Indian and foreign specialists.
