Digvijay accuses KCR family of looting State
Hyderabad: AICC general secretary in-charge of Telangana Congress party affairs Digvijay Singh has alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s family was looting the State in the form of commissions in redesigning of projects.
Addressing the Jana Avedana meeting held at Parigi on Monday, Digvijay Singh claimed that the ministers in the KCR’s cabinet were confined to seats only and they have no powers. Targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he alleged that he never saw such a person in his life like Modi, who speaks full of lies. “One can give gold medal to Modi for his lies”, he ridiculed and said Modi was implementing the schemes introduced by the Congress government by only changing their names.
TPCC chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy said the development in Telangana took place only in the previous Congress government regime. The TRS ministers were roaming in the State and making false claims saying that Telangana was a Bangaru Telangana. Huge corruption took place in Mission Bhagiratha scheme, he alleged and said that the KCR government had done injustice to Pranahitha-Chevella project by changing its design.
The Chief Minister, who stated that jobs will be given to each house, has given jobs to his own family members, he pointed out and alleged that the KCR rule was a fake rule. “We have to pull up the Chief Minister unitedly on jobs.” He called upon the cadre and made it clear that the Congress leadership would stand by the cadre if they meted out any injustice. He warned the TRS leaders and officials, who troubled Congress activists and leaders, saying that they will pay price in future.
Jana Reddy hits out at KCR
Addressing Jana Avedana, CLP leader K Jana Reddy said the KCR government had failed to provide minimum support price to the produce of farmers in the State. The KCR government changed ‘Bangaru Thalli’ scheme into Kalyana Laxmi and claiming that it was nowhere in the country, he said, adding that the Chief Minister failed to introduce even a single new scheme in the past two-and-a-half years.
KCR was the only Chief Minister in the country, who failed to stick to his word, Jana said, adding KCR deceived the farmers by assuring in the Assembly that his government would waive the loans of farmers at one go if the Centre increased the FRBM. Though the Centre hiked the FRBM, the Chief Minister failed to keep his assurance on farm loan waiver, he said. He also called upon the people to elect Congress to power in the 2019 elections.
