Devotees can do cashless transactions in Shirdi
Hyderabad: Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust Board has taken a decision to develop Sai Wallet App using digital technology for the Sai devotees visiting Shirdi.
There will be no need to carry currency notes to avail accommodation, meals, darshan and Harati tickets and purchase of other things, informed Trust chairman, Dr Suresh Haware. The decision was taken in a meeting attended by Trust vice-chairman Chandrasekhar Kadam, trustees Bhausaheb Wakchaure, Bipin Kolhe, Pratap Bhosale, Sachin Tambe and Shirdi Nagar panchayat president Yogitatai Shelke, executive officer Rubal Agrawal, deputy executive officer Dr Sandip Aher.
Dr Haware said the Sai devotees from all over the world come to Shirdi for Saibaba’s darshan. The devotees will be free of tension of keeping currency notes with them and their Shirdi tour will become pleasant.
The app will enable the devotees to do cashless transactions in Shirdi and this facility will also be made available at restaurants, hotels, shops and so on. Sai devotees will not have the fear of thefts or losing money. Sai devotees can enjoy darshan/aarti.
Saibaba Sansthan has installed 34 swapping machines at donation counter, all Bhakt Niwas, Prasadalaya, Shri Saibaba hospital, PRO office and so on.
Besides, net banking services, including Kotak Mahindra, Andhra, HDFC, Union Bank of Baroda, Central Bank are also made available for the devotees. Online gateway payment facility by Kotak Mahindra bank, HDFC bank and Andhra Bank are also available. Dr Haware appealed to devotees to enjoy the benefit of cashless transactions.
