Custodial Death At Mangalhat: Congress Seeks Probe

Hyderabad: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) chief N. Uttam Kumar Reddy has demanded that the State government order a judicial inquiry into the death of Bheem Singh in Mangalhat police station on Saturday.

Uttam Kumar called on Bheem Singh’s family members along with TPCC vice-president Mallu Ravi and Youth Congress State president Anil Kumar Yadav on Sunday.

Speaking on the occasion, Uttam demanded that the State government extend assistance to Bheem Singh’s family and initiate stern action against the police, who caused the death of Bheem Singh in custody. He also said they would raise the issue in the Assembly. (NSS)
