CS Orders To Hold Ugadi Fete At CM Office
Hyderabad: Chief Secretary SP Singh on Saturday directed the officials to make arrangements for “Sri Hevalambi Nama Samvatsara Ugadi Festival at Janahitha, the Chief Minister’s Camp Office, on March 29.
The CS held a high-level meeting with all top officials and asked them to make fool-proof arrangements for the purpose by March 28. Besides, language and culture, and endowments departments provide basic facilities like water supply, uninterrupted power, sanitation, live coverage, public address system, barricading, parking, bandobust and security, the officials should take steps to ensure that Ugadi Festival is conducted in a smooth manner at the camp office.
As part of the programme, arrangements should be made for Nadaswaram, Purna Kumbha Swagatham, prarthana geetham, Vedasirvachanam, Panchanga Pathanam, and felicitation to Vedic pundits, priests and others followed by a cultural programme.
Government advisor KV Ramanachary, special chief secretary Ajay Mishra, GAD principal secretary Adhar Sinha, R&B principal secretary Sunil Sharma, secretaries B Venkatesham, Navin Mittal, GHMC Commissioner Janardhan Reddy, CP Mahender Reddy and others were present.
