CM ready to resolve home guards’ problems: Nayani

Telangana Home Minister Nayani Narsimha Reddy said on Tuesday that the state government will resolve the issues of home guards. Reacting to protests by home guards over their demands, Narsimha Reddy said the government will discuss with the Home Guards Association their just demands. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is also ready to address their problems, he said. The home guards, who are drawing about Rs 12,000 a month with a recent salary hike, are urging the government to regularize their services and provide health cards and other benefits on par with government employees.
