CM to lead all-party team to PM: Kaleswaram & SC categorisation
Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has said that he will take an all-party delegation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to get national status to Kaleswaram project and on categorisation of SC reservations.
Participating in the debate on Budget on Friday, MIM floor leader Akbaruddin Owaisi asked the state government to take an all-party delegation to the Prime Minister to convince him to accord national status to Kaleswaram project. He said that the state government was not releasing the funds allotted to the development of Old City and demanded that the state government allocate Rs 5,000 crore for the development of Old City.
Finding fault with the state government for allocating less funds to education sector, Owaisi alleged that the state government was neglecting education. He demanded that the state government release gurukul notification again and also sought that the state government to give to special DSC notification to fill the Urdu teacher posts.
He urged the state government to introduce mid-day meal to the students of degree and junior colleges and asked the state government to release notification for the filling of junior lecturers (JLs) and deputy lecturers (DLs).
Demanding that the state government reinstate the Urdu logo of Osmania University on the occasion of Centenary Celebrations, he said that the government has to provide the needful infrastructure in the university.
He asked the state government to reveal as to when it will construct a new building for the Osmania General Hospital, besides providing Rs 2 crore for the development of Unani Hospital.
He asked the state government not impose huge challans ranging from Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,000 on the King Koti motorbike shop owners.
Reacting to it, the CM said the state government would fill Urdu posts by issuing special DSC for them. (NSS)
