CM Holds Video Interaction With Tribals Of Araku Valley
Araku Valley: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu assured the tribals of Visakhapatnam Agency a happy life for all by way of providing housing loans and implementing Chandranna Beema scheme. While interacting with the villagers of Pedalabudu, an adopted tribal village by the CM, on Wednesday through a video conference from the State capital Amaravathi, he enquired about the implementation of various schemes sponsored by the government.
He was to have visited the village on Wednesday but the cumulonimbus clouds (black heavy clouds) followed by heavy rains played spoil sport. In view of the inclement weather, the administration warned against flying in the helicopter to the city and then to Araku Valley.
Although his tour was cancelled, the high-tech CM held a video interaction with the villagers not dampening the enthusiasm of the tribals. Several villagers were excited to speak to the CM and lauded his efforts in bringing development to the adopted village. After paying heed to the issues brought forth by the villagers, the CM sought answers from the officials present at the other end of the video conference. Issues pertaining to organic cultivation, coffee plantations, school education and health were dealt with in the interaction.
Earlier, the district collector Praveen Kumar gave a brief about the welfare activities being taken up in the village. A cement road to a 17 km stretch has been laid and drinking water facility has been provided for 17 villages, the collector informed.
