Civil Service Ranker Lands In Trouble

A PIL was filed in the High Court against Ronanki Gopala Krishna, the third ranker in civil services, alleging that he submitted a fake handicap certificate to get through the exam.

Hyderabad: The civil services third ranker has landed in trouble. The much-publicised achiever, Ronanki Gopala Krishna who declared that he secured the rank without any coaching, is amidst controversy. A public Interest Litigation (PIL) petition was filed in the High Court challenging his handicap. Advocate Murali Krishna who belonged to Secunderabad alleged that Gopala Krishna submitted a fake certificate regarding his handicap. The petitioner alleged that Gopala Krishna is no way handicapped. He in his petition said that Gopala Krishna appeared for the exam submitting a fake certificate. Petitioner alleged that Gopala Krishna, who belonged to OBC category, submitted that he had 45 percent handicap. While 110 marks are the eligibility for OBCs in the preliminary exam, Gopala Krishna only got 91 marks, the petitioner observed.
