Hyderabad: The Telangana Government has temporarily set aside the hike in rates of cinema tickets in the State.

The Home Ministry had issued orders on June 23, 2017, hiking the prices of cinema tickets. The maximum price of a film ticket was fixed at Rs. 120 for air-conditioned theatres and Rs. 60 for non-AC ones.
