Chandrababu writes letter to PM on black money
- Moots withdrawal of Rs 1000 and 500 currency
Vijayawada: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said that he is writing a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on eradication of black money. He said that black money turned as a parallel economy and opined that there should be cash less transactions to eradicate the menace of black money.
The Chief Minister appreciating Prime Minister’s initiative on cracking down on black money through income disclosure scheme (IDS), observed politics became a shelter for black money. He said politicians should not depend on politics for their livelihood. The Chief Minister suggested withdrawal of Rs 1000 and Rs 500 currency notes to eradicate black money menace. He said the higher denomination currency notes are coming handy for people having black money to influence voters in elections. He said that the black money is playing key role in elections and the leadership of every party is facing tough time to face elections with the flow of black money.
The Chief Minister said if the black money menace is eradicated and everyone was empowered, India would emerge as super power by achieving double digit growth. Stating that India is rich in values and family relations, he said that people should not give up values and family relations.
He said if the black money was eradicated India would develop manifold with strong young power and technology.
