Chandrababu Naidu recalls NTR’s services

Hyderabad, January 18: AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu today paid rich tributes to TDP founder-president and former chief minister Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao at NTR ghat on the occasion of his death anniversary.
Chandrababu, accompanied by his family members- wife Bhuvaneshwari, son Lokesh and daughter-in-law Brahmani, visited NTR ghat and placed wreaths.
Speaking on the occasion, Chandrababu reminded the services of NTR, who is an ideal for future generations. He said all efforts would be made to secure “Bharat Ratna” award to NTR posthumously. A large number of party leaders, including those of Telangana region L Ramana and Motkupalli Narasimhulu, KE Krishnamurthy, Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, Peddireddy, Krishna Yadav were present on the occasion.
Later Naidu left for West Godavari district. He will undertake 18-km padayatra from Velivennu villge to Brahmagudem in Kovuru in the district. Before leaving for West Godavari district, Chandrababu Naidu paid tributed to NTR statue at Rasoolpura police lines here and flagged off NTR Amarajyothi rally in which NTR fans, TDP activists and others participated.
