Chandrababu Naidu Can’t Escape: Talasani
HYDERABAD: Commercial Tax Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav today said AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu was talking foolishly on “Cash for Vote” scam case.
Addressing the media at Telangana Bhavan here on Thursday, the minister asserted that Naidu could not escape from Revanth’s bribery attempt case despite his all-out efforts at Delhi.
Yadav ridiculed Naidu for making a vain bid at the national level on the “treacherous” issue that rattled Telugu Desam Government.
Stating that nobody can protect Naidu from the case, Talasani found fault with AP chief minister for complaining to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh against the TRS Government and Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Rao on the Revanth’s episode.
Talasani said that Chandrababu Naidu, who was under depression after the scam came to light, was speaking rubbish and has no values or integrity. He had just made mockery of democracy by complaining it to the centre, he charged. Though the TDP Chief was alleging often that the Rao Government forced the ACB or official machinery to tap his phone, Naidu did not disown his direct role in the case, he said.
“Did Naidu not send Revanth Reddy to purchase MLAs for MLC elections?” he asked.
Lambasting Naidu for trying to make the scam as an issue between the two Telugu speaking states, Yadav said, “This is only to provoke the people and create unhealthy atmosphere”, he said. He also expressed surprise as to why Naidu had to swap his security with that of Andhra Pradesh police replacing Telangana police. Similar was the case with his ministerial colleagues, Yadav said.
“Though you got security from your own state, can you get the basic amenities like water, power and laundry clothes from your state”, he wondered. (NSS)
