A galaxy of intellectuals were present in the meeting. Replying to the points raised in the debate author Arun Kumar said he is not against Telangana and he argued even before the division that people of Andhra area living in Hyderabad would be safe. He wanted to inform the society that the AP Reorganisation Bill was not passed in Lok Sabha on 18 February 2014. The doors of the Lok Sabha were closed and the TV telecast was discontinued. He said the civil society should see that this kind of thing does not happen again in future.

  1. I do not know about the contents of the book as I have not accessed the book. But the exploitation of the resources of Telangana and the violation of the ‘Gentlemen’s Agreement’ from the day one of the emergence of A.P. are by the ruling classes of the Seemandhra region can neither be ignored nor erased from the pages of history. This is what Telangana intellectual and historians have been doing as insiders and the sufferers. In fact, my recently launched book, “Changing Political Trends in India and the World” has a full section on this aspect of the story. Well, nobody can defend the way the A.P. Reorganisation Act” had been passed by the Lok Sabha in February 2014 with its doors closed and media channels barred. But what about the episode of the ‘Pepper Spray’ earlier in the same House? The theory of ‘Cause and Effect’ has its own subtle ways of operation.
