Centre Has No Role In AIADMK Crisis
New Delhi: Union Minister for Information & Broadcasting M Venkaiah Naidu said what has been happening in Tamil Naidu’s ruling party was disheartening. He told media persons that Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao would take appropriate decision under given conditions. Criticising him is wrong, Naidu said.
Venkaiah Naidu has been monitoring developments in TN on behalf of the Central government. He said the Centre or the BJP have no role in the problems of AIADMK. He said he does not want to comment on what is happening in the AIADMK internally.
Dr Subramanian Swamy, who filed the case if disproportionate assets against J Jayalalithaa, Sasikala and others, has said Sasikala has every right to become chief minister and the Governor is bound by the constitution to administer the oath of office to Sasikala since she was elected leader of the AIADMK.
