Center Extends Support For New Capital: Venkaiah
HYDERABAD: Union Minister for Urban Development Venkaiah Naidu today said the center would extend support for building of new capital for Andhra Pradesh. He said his ministry has sanctioned 1,000 crore rupees for the new capital.
Talking to media here, Naidu said the people in the country are aware of the achievements of the Modi Government during the one-year. He said while the performance of the NDA Government was good in one-year rule, the previous Congress regime had ruined the entire system, which was being restored now by the Modi Government.
Lambasting the opposition parties for criticizing the government for criticism sake, the union minister said they (opposition) were unable to digest the efficient functioning of the Modi Government as the government was working as expected by the people in a transparent manner.
Naidu said the Modi Government’s only aim was to provide better services to the people, and Swacch Bharat is the program to maintain cleanliness in the country. All possible measures were taken by the government to provide livelihood to poor people, he added.
Imparting skill development to poor, construction of houses and smart city program would begin next month, Naidu said. He also said that by 2020, houses would be provided to all families in the country. (NSS)
