Cancer screening camp
Hyderabad: Basavatarakam Indo-American Cancer Hospital & Research Institute which is observing October as Breast Cancer Month, is organising a free cancer screening camp up to October 31. The camp will remain open from 10 am to 2 pm on First Floor of Block I in the hospital on Road No.14, Banjara Hills. During the screening, those asked to undergo breast mammogram will be given 50% discount on mammogram charges.
On Wednesday, the hospital organized a Breast Cancer Awareness Walk. Among those present at the walk were the institute’s chairman Nandamuri Balakrishna and Telangana Jagruthi founder and Nizamabad MP Kalvakuntla Kavitha who lauded the hospital’s
efforts in providing best cancer care at affordable prices. Balakrishna detailed the activities of the hospital since its inception. He, along with dignitaries released pink balloons to mark the Pink Ribbon Day.
