Brahmana Parishad meet in Balaji Bhavan tomorrow
Hyderabad: Advisor to Telangana Government on cultural affairs and president of Telangana Brahmana Samkshema Parishad Dr K V Ramanachary today announced that an extensive meeting of the Parishad will be held at TTD Kalayana Mandapam, Himayat Nagar here on February 25 from 11 am to discuss about the measures to be taken for the all-round development of Brahmins in Telangana State.
In a statement here on Thursday, Dr Ramanachary appealed to presidents and secretaries of all the Brahmin welfare associations, Sri Vaishnava Seva sanghams in all the 31 districts of the State to attend the meeting without fail and offer suggestions and advices for tackling the problems being faced by the community members and to formulate an action program for the purpose.
It may be mentioned here that Brahmana Samkshema Parishad was formed recently and the State government had also earmarked Rs 100 crore in the Budget for the Brahmana Parishad to initiate welfare programs for the community people. (NSS)
