BJP, SP, BSP Final Showdown At Varanasi
Varanasi: All eyes are on Varanasi now. A historic place and the Lok Sabha constituency of PM Narendra Modi’s will decide fate of parties for 2019 elections. The final phase of UP elections will be held on March 8. The most crucial and critical constituency where the last phase polling will take place is Varanasi.
Take off for this final phase is witnessed by road shows with main leaders who include PM Narendra Modi from BJP, Akhilesh from SP, and Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi. These leaders have flexed their muscle by organising he he rallies. BSP, which is trying strongly to revive party’s future, will hold a public meeting in the outskirts of Varanasi.
BJP, which won 71 LoK Sabha seats in 2014 elections is eyeing on UP’s Chair which it lost more than a decade ago, in 2007 to be exact when the present Union Hone Minister Rajnath Singh was the chief minister.
6th phase of polling was held on Saturday. This phase comprises 49 Assembly constituencies. BJP may gain advantage according to political observers. The counting of votes will take place in the 11 th.
