BJP Complains Of Poll Code Violation In Rajbhavan Quarters Inauguration
Hyderabad: BJP Telangana State unit today brought to the notice of state chief election officer about violation of code of conduct by chief minister KCR and his cabinet colleges.
Election code of conduct is in force till tomorrow in wake of election for MLC post for Hyderabad, Mahabubnagar and Rangareddy districts teachers constituency. Elections would be held on March 9.
In a memorandum submitted to Bhanwarlal, state chief election officer, the party said it was unfortunate that the TRS government is involved in violation of code of conduct by attending foundation stone function in Rajbhavan.
The foundation was laid for Rs 58 crore worth housing scheme for staff of Rajbhavan in the premises of Rajbhavan itself in which the governor, the chief minister, deputy chief minister, home minister, road and building minister, GHMC mayor participated which tantamounts to violation of code of conduct.
The party sought a response from the state government as to whether it was not violation of code of conduct and demanded action against those who violated it.
