Balakishna does risky shot in action scenes in #101
Hyderabad: Nandamuri Balakrishna, immediately after the success of his 100th film ‘Gauthami Putra Shatakarni’, gave an opportunity to Puri Jagannath to do a film with him with a broad and large heart, though he knew that Puri is facing a bad period and many of his films are turning disasters. It may be recalled here that Puri Jagannath’s career is in doldrums and none of the star heroes are coming forward to give him an opportunity
. May be the reason is that he is not in good form. Either his last film ‘Ism’ or his latest release ‘Rogue’ failed miserably at Box Office despite spending huge budget. The shooting of Balayya’s film began with a high octane action scene at the Aluminium factory on the outskirts of Hyderabad. Though he crossed 55 years of age, he told the director that he doesn’t want a body double and will personally do the action scene, which is risky.
The actor’s dedication left the director and other unit members in awe. According to the media reports, the director is considering ‘Ustaad’ as the title of the movie. Puri Jagannath has a habit of announcing the release date on the day of the muhurat shot and for this movie also, he locked the date September 29 for release. It was proposed to release the film as a Dasara gift. Moreover, September 30 is Dasara holiday, October 1 is Sunday and October 2 is Gandhi Jayanthi. So, it would be a long weekend and this would help for good openings for the movie.
