‘Baahubali’ Is Bigger Than All Of Us: SS Rajamouli

The film could sustain the interest of the audience with the question, “Why did Kattappa kill Baahubali?”, a catch phrase used even by politicians during their recent election campaigning.

Mumbai: The makers of the Magnum Opus,’ Bahubali2: The conclusion’ convinced Cinestaan AA Distributors to release the Hindi version of the film in US, Britain, Australia and New Zealand markets. A release by the distributors expressed delight over gaining the confidence of movie makers to distribute landmark film.

The first part of the mega budget film became a huge success breaking the language barrier. The film could sustain the interest of the audience with the question, “Why did Kattappa kill Baahubali?”, a catch phrase used even by politicians during their recent election campaigning.

The director of the film SS Rajamouli speaking at the IMAX poster launch of the film said that they are confident of the success since a big fan base has been following it for the past two years. The first part which was a visual treat and as the film ends with the cliffhanger, leaving the audience to think about thousand possibilities as to why Kattappa killed Bahubali, everyone is curious to know if their answer is right.

This is the attraction of the sequel. The director said that they are quite upbeat about it.

The part socio-fantasy stars Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Tamannaah, Anushka Shetty in lead roles.

The director said that the film ‘Baahubali’ was possible because of Prabhas, who despite being a top hero in South gave nearly four years for the film. “I don’t think we could’ve done the film without him,” he added.

He said that no person, including himself, can be bigger than the project since the franchise is so huge. “We are all being carried on a big ship called Baahubali,” he quipped. As Baahubali has turned out to be such a big thing, we, who worked on it, are getting attention, he said.

The film is scheduled to release on April 28.
