Baahubali 2: BBC, Mahesh, Pawan Praise Team Rajamouli
Hyderabad; Many stars of Indian cinema have come out in praise of Rajamouli’s team after the collections of Baahubali crossed the ₹1,000 crore mark. Telugu super star Mahesh Babu said some thing unimaginable has become a reality. Telugu cinema can now hold its head high. Power Star Pawan Kalyan has complimented Prabhas, Rajamouli and other members of the team for creating a superb record. Vijayendra Prasad, the story writer and father of Rajamouli, said he had thought the film would be a success but did not imagine the unbelievable dimensions it has reached. Baahubali has erased the boundaries of Telugu cinema, he commented.
Hero Prabhas has expressed his gratefulness to Rajamouli for giving him the ‘lifetime chance’ to act in the film. He was extremely happy at his film being admired not only in India but all over the world. BBB channel has described the movie as a ‘fantasy epic.’ Despite dance and song sequences, it is not a Bollywood movie but a Tollywood film shot in Hyderabad, the BBC anchor reminded. Mike McCahill, Hollywood critic, said in the BBC programme:”Workd viewers have embraced the film and Indian cinema is surely flexing its muscles and showing to the world that they can match with Hollywood action films with a fraction of the budget spent on ‘Fast & Furious’ and ‘Guardians of Galaxy.’
Hindi film maker Karan Johar has tweeted about the landmark achievement:”The biggest milestone has been reached by the biggest blockbuster of Indian cinema.’
