AP invites US investors to Partnership Summit

Vijayawada:A�AA�delegation of the Government of Andhra Pradesh led by Minister of Human Resource Development Ganta Srinivasa Rao recently visited the United for investment promotion activities and to invite delegates to attend the Partnership Summit to be held onA�January 27 andA�28, 2017A�in Visakhapatnam.
The delegation includedA�Aditya Nath Das, Principal Secretary (School Education) and A�Krishna Kishore, CEO, Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board (APEDB). The team attended the a�?India-USA Synergy Eventa�� inA�Los AngelesA�where the minister and Krishna Kishore made presentations on Sunrise Andhra Pradesh and invited delegates to attend the Partnership Summit.
The a�?India-USA Synergy Eventa�� is a full-day conference focusing on US-A�IndiaA�cross-border investment, trade, manufacturing, media, education and tourism. The delegation also visited several cities in U.S includingA�Los Angeles,A�San Jose, Washington D.C andA�New YorkA�to interact with potential investors, according to a press release.
The APEDB delegation met World Trade Organisation (WTO) officials inA�New YorkA�and they evinced interest in building a World Trade Center in Amaravati. Several companies including Pfizer, MasterCard, Aecom expressed interest to invest in Andhra Pradesh, the press release said.
