Amaravati: The Andhra Pradesh State government has taken up a unique initiative to project the State as an investment destination at the 47th World Economic Forum to be held from January 17 to 20, in Davos, Switzerland.

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu would lead the State delegation and address the delegates. He will also make a presentation on investments. The State government has launched a special bus with the words ‘Andhra Pradesh No.1 Destination for Corporate Investment’ that would go around Davos during the meet.

The idea of this unique initiative is to promote Andhra Pradesh as best destination for investments in India and this would be a repeat performance of the successful idea carried out at the same venue last year.

Chandrababu Naidu has been in touch with the organizers of the World Economic Forum ever since he returned to power in 2014. Keeping in view the bifurcation of the State and the need to rebuild the State, Chandrababu Naidu had been continuously holding consultations with the national and global investors and inviting them to come to Amaravati or any part of the new State.
