AP Congress blames CM for giving capital villages lands to corporate companies

Addressing a meeting of the party office-bearers on the capital region, Raghuveera Reddy said that the government had taken fertile lands from the farmers rendering the farmers and the farm labourers jobless. The government had also promised not to do business with these lands and use it only for the capital, he recalled. However, the government was now doing business by allocating the lands to the corporate companies, he said.
The Congress leader came down heavily on the Chief Minister for giving hundreds of acres of land to the big business houses at through away prices. The police were not allowing people to question the government, he alleged. He asked the Chief Minister to start construction of the capital city at the earliest.
The capital committee leaders Bandla Punna Rao, T J R Sudhakar Babu, M Mallikharjuna Rao, N Venkataiah, Gidugu Rudraraju, and others were present at the meeting.
