Amit Shah Eyes Telangana: Targets 12 Lok Sabha seats

After the Look East policy takes a concrete shape in Odisha, Amit Shah wants to focus on Telangana where the BJP aims to win all the 17 seats, including Hyderabad.

Bhuvaneswar: Apart from five Lok Sabha seats it had won in the past, fresh target BJP is aiming in Telangana is another 12 in 2019 elections. To plan strategy for this, BJP Chief Amit Shah will tour Telangana in 3rd week of May.

Party will be strengthened from booth level and grass root level and TBJP is gearing up for agitation against Communal reservations which are going to be implemented by TRS Government.

Amit Shah will mainly focus on Hyderabad Parliamentary seat which is in the hands of AIMIM for many years. To win Hyderabad seat the BJP wants to implement UP elections strategy.
Amit Shah’s actual date to tour Hyderabad was April 7 which was postponed due to Parliament sessions and other engagements in Delhi.

National leaders are targeting 12 lok Sabha seats in Telangana including Hyderabad, a part from 5 seats they won in the past. So their main target is 17 Lok Sabha seats and for this Amit Shah is doing ground work with TBJP Chief Laxman who was in Odisha where BJP Executive Committee meeting was going on.
