Hyderabad: Controversies sparkled across Brahmin community after first look of DJ poster was released by unit sources last week. Poster with Allu Arjun carrying vegetables on scooter revealed his role in DJ movie nothing but a Brahmin guy.
Movie directed by Harish Shankar and produced by Dil Raju have high expectations on Bunny Fans, but section of people tried to create controversy which was condemned by unit sources today.
Director Harish Shankar himself is a Brahmin and there will be no degrading comments or jokes on community, a unit sources said to our Primepost reporter.
First of all, we should appreciate Allu Arjun for his dedication towards role, he did not touch or eat non-vegetarian from last 6 months. This shows his commitment towards role and respect towards Brahmin community, Unit source added further.
According to Dronamraju Ravi Kumar, convener of All India Brahmin assured that there were no negative comments on the community after having a word with director.
Allu Arjun, who tasted success of hat-trick with Race Gurram, S/O Satyamurthy and mass oriented Sarinodu is coming up with a complete changeover in this movie as a Brahmin guy.
We have seen attacks on Heroes house and on film sets when ever public or community sentiments were hurt. Attack on Manchu Vishnu’s house for his role in Denikaina ready, warning to comedian Brahmanandam for his role in Nuvvu leka Nenu Lenu are few examples.
Hope movie makers take care of sentiments while producing films based on communities.
