Ajmer Dargah Blast: 2 Persons Sentenced For Life

Jaipur: Two Hindu right-wing extremists were sentenced to life by a special NIA court here on Wednesday In Ajmer Dargah blast case. The court found Hindu activists Sunil Joshi and Devendra Gupta guilty of planning the blast.

Bhavesh Bhai Patel was convicted for planting the bomb. Under Indian Criminal Code (IPC) and Explosive Substances Act and Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, the court has convicted the accused. Joshi, a leader of a Hindu extremist group was shot dead on 29 December 2007. He was going back to his hideout when he was killed. The blast in December 2007 at Ajmer Dargah had killed three persons and injured 17.
