Actor Chalapathi Rao’s Cheap Comment Angers Public
Hyderabad: A stupid and idiotic comment made by senior film actor Chalapathi Rao, when a light hearted question about his opinion of girls was asked, has shocked the audience in a largely attended function.
Respect is not something which is given because someone is old or rich or powerful. A person can earn respect only by his or her behaviour. This is applicable to anyone including Telugu film industry. When a person doesn’t behave in a dignified manner as he ages, it is natural that people despise him.
As it is people have a low opinion about the film industry and if someone behaves in such a way that they drag the respect of the industry down, then they need to be questioned and make them apologise. Despite being educated, many people have a dishonourable opinion about women in the films. But when a senior in the industry makes cheap comments about them from an open dais, it will lower the dignity of the person. But, Telugu film industry has many names who behave with dignity and respectfully.
The episode took place in the audio function of Naga Chaitanya’s “Rarandoy Veduka Chuddam” on Sunday. Senior actor Chalapati Rao’s comments on this occasion are despicable.
Controversy raged over his comments on the social media sites. When the anchor of the show asked him if girls are dangerous to expecting a funny answer from him, the answer he gave not only stunned her but all the audience sitting in the auditorium. He said, “They are not dangerous, they are useful in bed??”
Such comments in a public function angered the responsible netizens. They are attacking his opinion on social media platforms.
Meanwhile, the anchor encouraging him that it was a super answer was cheap and undignified to say the least. She should have thought of some intelligent response.
