ACB Raids on Revanth’s House

HYDERABAD: Telangana Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB)A�officials on TuesdayA�raided the residences of TDP MLA Revanth Reddy and his two accomplices in connection with the a�?Cash-for-Votea�? scam.

The sleuths searched the houses of Revanth Reddy, Sebastian Harry and Uday Simha at different places in Hyderabad, simultaneously. Armed with a search warrant, some 10 to 15 ACB officials searched Revanth’s house at Jubliee Hills.A�They inspected documents relating to bank accounts, lands and passports.

Later, the sleuths raided Revantha��s other house, where they have recovered a few important documents and a hard disk. At the same time, the officials found cartons ofA�importedA�liquor bottles in Harry’s house, which theyA�seized.

Revanth, TDP MLA from Kodangal in Mahbubnagar district, was arrested by the ACB on May 31 when he offered 50-lakh rupees to a nominated MLA Elvis Stephenson to make him vote for TDP-BJP candidate in the elections to Telangana Legislative Council.A� ACB also arrested two aides in the trap laid on a complaint by Stephenson.

The ACB is also questioning them in regard to the complicity of any other political leaders in the scam. The case took a dramatic turnA�on SundayA�when an audiotape of alleged telephonic conversation between Naidu and Stephenson aired in a TV channel. (NSS)
