Nara Lokesh’s Slip Of Tongue Once Again
New Delhi: Nara Lokesh, well known for slip of tongue on many occasions had his foot in the mouth once again, this time in New Delhi on Wednesday.
On the eve of late PV Narasimha Rao’s 96th birth anniversary, Lokesh while addressing media, said that PV became prime minister from TDP, which shocked media people.
After noticing reaction from media people, Lokesh immediately covered the statement by saying he is a pride of Telugu people who became PM during crisis period.
This is not the first time Lokesh committed gafe while speaking extempore. At a meeting, he said vardhanti instead of Jayanti.
Lokesh, is a graduate from Stanford Business School and the only son of Chandrababu Naidu. He was repeatedly heard pronouncing Telugu words even during oath taking ceremony as an MLC. He said “Sradhanjali” instead of “ Sradhasakthi”. It is ironic that the grandson of NTR who was known for his fiction and clarity of expression should have so many problems with Telugu language. One would hope Lokesh would pick good working knowledge of Telugu lest it should become a source of embarrassment for him and his illustrious father.
